Theory and History of Conservation (7.5 hec)

This course is compulsory for students who have not completed the corresponding course at the first-cycle level.

Fundamental concepts and theoretical issues in the field of conservation are studied via reading assignments and seminars in a historic perspective. Doctrines in the form of international declarations and conventions are discussed. The course consists of lectures, seminars and a study trip, and can also be offered as a literature course.
